HIP Revision

Hip Revision is the name given to a repeat hip replacement. It involves replacing the patient’s current artificial hip joint with a new artificial hip joint.

Hip revision may become an option if your current artificial hip joint fails.

Hip revisions may become necessary if your joint has significant wear and tear, if there is infection or dislocation.

Hip revision surgery can be more complicated and take longer than the original hip replacement surgery.
